I always wondered how it would feel to ride a horse wearing that getup. Now I'm wondering again.

Am thinking.......Joan of Arc must have worn that.
And so I'm guessing that the lesson here is "always wear protection."

This was taken at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. They used to have a large armor collection which they've chosen to farm out. They still have a few pieces, some Samurai armor and weaponry, but nothing like the collection of yore.
