Seeing Ms. Bette in all her glory gave me a chuckle and brought back a memory. Thirty-plus years ago, I was in the Crazy Horse in G'Town and was being charmed by a handsome Middle Eastern guy. He told me that I looked like Bette Davis. I was horrified...because I thought he meant Bette as she looked then...but he meant it as a compliment. He said "Didn't you know that in her early years, Bette Davis was a great beauty?" Ah, memories. :)
Sheri: I'm sure you know that they were always after the young Bette Davis to look better. Yet when you see her early films, she was quite beautiful.
Kate: It sure made me laugh. I was watching other Jimmy James You Tubes and he does an incredible Marilyn Monroe.
Phil: Those later years, I wanted her to retire behind doors. She weighed 30 pounds, had experienced a massive stroke so had dragging face/speech impairment, and she was so....cranky. Also a designer of that time had put her in these clown clothes with large primary colored buttons. It lacked dignity.

Brilliant, WC!

Fantastic.
Yes, Sheri, most people remember her as the crotchety old hag on the Tonight Show.

Cube, indeed.
Thank you for my Christmas card.
You're welcome, Phil. I was going to post my card designs this year.
You should....
My, that is an interesting place to put stemware.
Let's thank Tony for this image.
